Dr. Brumfield, received her BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and Leadership from James Madison University in 2001. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College in 2005. She has also received specialized training through the Michigan State Osteopathic School of Medicine with emphasis on manual treatment techniques for the rib cage, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sacroiliac regions. She has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2005. Dr. Brumfield’s special interests are preparing athletes for competition following all types of sports injuries and using manual techniques to assist patients with shoulder and back rehabilitation following injuries and/or surgeries.
