Mrs. Wallman graduated from Old Dominion University in 1987 with a degree in Physical Therapy. She completed her Vestibular Rehabilitation certification in 1999 at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and established the first Vestibular Practice in Lynchburg specializing in Vestibular Treatment and Fall Prevention. Mary continues to attend Vestibular seminars 1-2 times a year for advancement or changes in Vestibular treatment. She has also attended seminars on Cervicogenic dizziness and has had extensive training with Balance/Fall Prevention using the NeuroCom Balance System.
Mrs. Wallman holds educational seminars at local health clubs, hospitals and retirement/nursing homes to educate the public on the causes of vertigo and what can be done to correct this debilitating condition.
