I wish to thank all of you for the excellent care I received when Dr. Combs referred me to you for foot pain. I am now able to walk with no pain at all. Consequently, I look forward to each day instead of dreading even simple activities. I’m sure all of you would say that you are just doing your jobs, but you go far and beyond what is required. The receptionists always greeted me with a smile, and the aides and assistants were consistently patient and helpful with everyone under their care. Dr. Bailey himself was obviously exceptionally skilled and professional, and also friendly, encouraging, and eager to have me feeling better as quickly as possible. I appreciated the fact that he took time to see me each visit and personally monitor my program. Again, thank you for your help, and I wish all of you a very happy 2008.

I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 8 years old. Just before the start of my senior year in high school, I started having severe shoulder pain. I couldn’t even lift my arms above my head. My doctor referred me to John Wallman at Rehab Associates. I told John that my goal was to be able to swim without pain again. John developed a program of physical therapy and exercise for me. I am now fully recovered and swimming again. And the best news, I will be swimming competitively at college next year! Rehab Associates was my choice for physical therapy. My dad is a doctor and he recommends Rehab Associates for his patients who need physical therapy, too!

I have used Rehab Associates for my physical therapy needs twice now. The first time that I needed physical therapy was for a shoulder injury. At that time, I didn’t really know what to expect as I had never had physical therapy before. Andy Tatom worked with me and while the treatment started out a little painful, my shoulder always felt better after my visit. Now, it is unreal the strength that I have in my arm! I can do just about anything that I want to. I play golf, fish, lift weights, and have good strength in my arm and shoulder. The second time I came to Rehab Associates was after finding out that I had a serious lung disease. I needed physical therapy for pre-operative strengthening before a lung transplant. I would come to physical therapy with my oxygen tank. Rehab Associates helped me gain the strength I needed to recover from a major surgery. Now, I am able to play golf, fish, and swim on a regular basis! I tell everyone I know about the help that I received at Rehab Associates!!

I used to walk 2-3 miles per day, but my back began hurting so bad that I was unable to walk for exercise any longer. I tried medication, but the pain didn’t go away. That is when I asked my doctor to send me to Andy Tatom at Rehab Associates. The evaluation that Andy did enabled him to pinpoint the problem area. Before long, I had no pain at all. Now, if I do have pain, I do the exercises that I learned at Rehab Associates and I am able to keep the problem area under control. I know where to go if I ever need physical therapy again…Rehab Associates!!
